Nowadays, with the advancement of nano-technology, nanoparticles with high atomic number can be concentrated in tumor cells. The presence of nanoparticles within the tumor causes an increase in the tumor sensitivity to the radiation while healthy tissues nearby get the least damage. In the present study, using the code mcnpx, phantom consisting of a cube with sides of 10 cm containing soft tissue and a tumor with sides of 0.5 cm were considered.
